My parents gave me my first train set when I was five years old. That was back in 1963, and I have been an enthusiastic hobbyist ever since.
I have been fortunate to have many talented friends and mentors in the hobby and my skills have steadily improved over the decades. Along the way, I developed a passion for the many subtle differences that make a given railroad’s rolling stock unique, and I began building resin rolling stock kits for my own layout and for friends. Their many words of encouragement prompted me, in 2004, to offer my services professionally.
Since then, I have built hundreds of rolling stock kits from many manufacturers — in HO, S and O scales — for clients in North America and around the world. My kit-building experience includes steam era and modern rolling stock kits in resin, laser cut, etched, injection molded plastic, and other materials. I have done test-builds for manufacturers and provided feedback on instructions and materials. And I have reviewed rolling stock kits for Railroad Model Craftsman magazine.
I can get your rolling stock kits out of their boxes and onto your layout - so you can focus on the many other things creating a rewarding model railroad demands.
