Thank you for your interest in our services. The following should be all that you should need to know about us, however feel free to contact us if you need more information.
Personal Background
I've been an avid model railroader since my parents gave me my first train set at the age of 5. Over the last 40 plus years my interest has never waned and my skills have improved. Currently I'm building a layout of Palmerston,Ontario. Once completed, I and my operations crew will be able to reproduce the daily activities of that branchline hub as they were in the late summer of 1950. Over the last 15 years I've built over 200 resin freight and passenger cars for myself and others. I've become rather accomplished building resin cars and am now offering my services to the general market.
Your Options
A note about weathering;
Weathering for me is a very subjective thing. What is pleasing to my eye may not be what you are looking for. The better you can describe to me what you are looking for, the better job I can do for you.
You can mail me your kits or have me supply them for you. It's entirely up to you. Please remember that the assembly price does not include the cost of the kit.
American clients
You need not be concerned about mailing your kits to Canada. I have done business over the border without any difficulties for years. All you need to do when mailing your kit is mark on the customs form that you are mailing the kit for assembly and it will move through customs with no difficulty. Using a courier service such as UPS will speed things up but in the end cost you and me more money. The time saved is not worth the expense.
Payment
All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. A 50% deposit is required and the balance to be paid before the finished car is shipped.
Feel free to call or E-Mail me should you have any questions or special requests. Giving you, the client, the cars you want is our focus.
